Free Playboy Jazz Concert - June 1st Feat. Michael Lington
SUMMER KICKS INTO FULL SWING WHEN THE PLAYBOY JAZZ FESTIVAL RETURNS TO THE WARNER CENTER PARK FOR A FREE JAZZ CONCERT, JUNE 1ST FEATURING SAX STAR MICHAEL LINGTON, ERNIE ANDREWS, THE B-SIDE PLAYERS, RAYA YARBROUGH AND THE CHATSWORTH HIGH SCHOOL BAND
Summer kicks into full swing with free live jazz and entertainment when the Playboy Jazz Festival presents a free concert Sunday, June 1st, from 2:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Popular contemporary jazz saxophonist Michael Lington will headline the show. The concert will also feature outstanding vocalist Ernie Andrews, the funk, rock, jazz and hip-hop rhythms of the B-Side Players, pop-style of vocalist Raya Yarbrough, and the Chatsworth High School Jazz Band. The event takes place at the Lou Bredlow Pavilion in Warner Center Park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Boulevard, in Woodland Hills.
The concert is being held in conjunction with the upcoming 30th Anniversary of the Playboy Jazz Festival set for Saturday and Sunday, June 14th and 15th at the Hollywood Bowl.
A variety of food and refreshments will be sold. Patrons may bring blankets, beach/lawn chairs, picnic baskets and coolers. Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Parking is available in the parking structures on Califa Street for $5 or in parking structures east of Owensmouth Avenue between Califa Street and Oxnard Street for $4.
