Philadelphia, PA - - Delilah Winder is a celebrity chef, restaurant owner and cookbook author who has a passion for food and entertaining.  From a little girl in her grandmother’s kitchen to the “it” girl on the Philadelphia food scene, Delilah is a successful business woman on the continual move upward and taking her fine cooking with her.  Philadelphia’s favorite chef is now prepping for yet another great expansion in her business of cooking.  Chef Delilah Winder is set to tape and host her own brand new cooking show – A Taste Of Gospel. 

A Taste of Gospel is no ordinary cooking show.  “A Taste of Gospel is going to be fun and about people really having a great food experience,” Chef Delilah cheerfully states.  The new show promises delicious southern-style cooking that Chef Delilah is best known for and a twist.  The show will feature Gospel and Christian music’s hottest artists in the kitchen with Chef Delilah whipping up mouth watering dishes.  The most influential musical talents take time off the stage to join Chef Delilah in preparing their favorite dishes while learning new and innovative ideas for tasty nutritional meals.  Stir in informative and creative culinary expertise with a dash of entertaining and enlightening guests and you get the most exciting new cooking show of the season! 

Southern Cooking is Chef Delilah’s specialty. “The origin of southern food has always been of fresh ingredients and it’s about eating a well balanced meal,” Chef Delilah explains.  She emphasizes that southern cooking can be prepared healthy by using fresh products and a few sensible yet easy substitutes that she promises to share on the show.   

Chef Delilah has enjoyed being featured on several national television shows.  She was a special guest on ABC’s The View, demonstrating her world famous macaroni and cheese with Barbara and Sherri, the Food Network’s The Best of Southern Cuisine, Throw down with Bobby Flay, and Mac N Cheese Challenge, CBS’s  Chef on a Shoestring, Comcast Digital Cookbook and the Oprah Winfrey Show being voted the nation’s best macaroni and cheese.

Chef Delilah owns several restaurants including the acclaimed Bluezette in old city Philadelphia - an elegant restaurant that uniquely reflects her Southern heritage.  She is also the author of Delilah’s Everyday Soul: Southern Cooking With Style cookbook, the first publication of her favorite southern recipes which have helped make Delilah a favorite chef of celebrities such as Patti LaBelle, Denzel Washington, Danny Glover, and Tavis Smiley. 

Entertaining is a passion of Chef Delilah’s, thus making a cooking show an effortless venture.  “I want people to embrace dinning.
