DETROIT, July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- There will be lots of great food in downtown Detroit with barbeque ribbers from across the United States.  Detroit will have the best barbeque this side of the Mississippi August 6-8. The 15th Annual Ribs 'n' Soul has a new name Rib's 'n' Soul R 'n' B Jazz Fest and will host thousands of rib lovers who will eat, drink and shop while enjoying the sounds of many musical groups.

The Ribs 'n' Soul R 'n' B Jazz Fest boasts the best ribs this side of the Mississippi.  On Sunday, Aug. 8, chefs from around the country will smoke, grill and season ribs to perfection during the tasty Rib Cook Off.  This year, 15 grillers will compete for the Best Ribs and Best Sauce  title.

This premier summer attraction will bring people from as far as Georgia, Florida, the Carolinas, Chicago and Indiana .  The Fest will also feature a Health Expo, Art on the River, an African village, a Business Expo and the Kid's Zone. In addition, there are two entertainment stages featuring national, regional and local talent.

Friday and Saturday will feature R&B. Gospel music will the order of Sunday afternoon. Performing Sunday evening is Enchantment. There will also be many regional and local artists performing throughout the weekend. Preferred seating and VIP tickets are available for both shows.
